Ashley Blumoff received a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin in 2001. With a focus on Industrial Psychology, she developed a firm understanding of people in the workplace. Upon graduation, Ashley began her career as an Executive Assistant for a high-end professional services firm. There, she was exposed to the administrative side of the corporate world, which would later work to her advantage with placing administrative professionals. Shortly after, she began recruiting for a top placement agency in Los Angeles, California where the entrepreneurial atmosphere helped her shape and craft a unique recruiting methodology that consisted of thoroughly assessing candidates, systematically prepping candidates appropriately for interviews and most importantly listening and understanding her client's needs and goals. Through this methodology, Ashley quickly became a successful recruiter and found her passion for recruiting. Upon her engagement to her long time sweetheart from college, she moved back home to Texas to begin her dream of building a business and family in Texas. No other agency could fill the shoes of her recruiting goals and expectations, so she founded her own agency and built it from the ground up. Ashley developed The Placement Group in 2005 with a distinctive dedication to meeting the staffing needs of her clients and candidates. The Placement Group has enabled her to implement her unique recruiting strategies and business style through working with many of Dallas' top firms and leading administrative professionals.
Ashley and her husband, Justin, live in the central Dallas area and enjoy raising their daughter, Laven Elizabeth, and devoting their time to helping raise funds for cancer research through The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
